Oil Painting 101 Class with Dustin Klassen
Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint but were too afraid to enter a class with people who have been at it for years? Have you dabbled in painting but feel you may have started on the wrong foot? This class is designed to go through the fundamentals and solidify a foundation to build upon! Learn about different kinds of brushes, mediums, and surfaces and how they will affect a painting's result.
The class will also walk you through the steps that the Old Masters used to create beautiful oil paintings, but using simple subjects that anyone can draw! Working with a limited palette, students will learn to develop a color mixing system to propel them into the wonderful world of painting! Come and make your Monday mornings the best part of your week!
This four-week class series is on Mondays, starting September 11, through October 2, at Starpointe Residents Club from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
